| Recorded by percussionist GIlly Gonzalez partially in the open air during the winter of 2001 in front of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona with Turtle Jon on bass and the next winter of 2002 in Phoenix at the Cat in Cog studios. Coincidentally Gilly had recorded another Loco Gnosis artist Scotty Karate (formerly of the Plumbobs and currently Scotch Bonnet w/Awesome Colors's Derek Stanton) when he was touring through Texas the year before. Annie Oakley also marks the first time Jeff Howitt and Joel McCune who was playing in the Hypno-Twists at the time (both now in DUENDE!) collaborated.. and um they had ate mushrooms..
